Due to a history of good reliability and the security of all-wheel-drive, the Subaru Forester is a well-known vehicle in the compact crossover SUVs lineup. It's now got plenty of competition from rivals such as the Toyota RAV4 and Mazda CX-5. For the 2022 model year, a midcycle refresh has been made in the Forester lineup. The exterior is refreshed by the addition of blockier-looking front headlamps, a reworked grille, and new wheel designs. New trim named Wilderness is also added. The Interior is refreshed with new optional gesture controls for the climate control system and a panoramic sunroof as standard equipment on all but the base trim. The EyeSight suite of driver-assistance features gets upgraded camera sensors and a new Automatic Emergency Steering system is also added. All-Wheel Drive is the only drivetrain type available. This four-door SUV offers a fuel economy of 26 MPG in the city while 33 MPG on the highway. It's a five-seater SUV carrying a fuel tank capacity of 16.6 gallons.
