The 2027 Kia Carnival Hybrid SX FWD builds on the strengths of the 2026 SX trim with thoughtful upgrades to efficiency, performance, technology, and comfort. It continues to use a 1.6-liter turbocharged hybrid powertrain with an optimized electric assist and regenerated braking, now producing approximately 245 horsepower with around 275 lb-ft of torque. Improvements to the hybrid system and battery increase fuel economy into the mid-30s MPG range, with a projected total driving range of 640–660 miles on a 19-gallon tank.
The SX trim sits atop the Carnival Hybrid lineup with sportier design cues, premium features, and connectivity enhancements. A standard 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen pairs with a digital instrument cluster, and connectivity includes wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, multiple USB-C ports, an onboard Wi-Fi hotspot, and over-the-air software updates.
